At the recent AGM of Worcestershire BS there were well over 40 members in attendance (must be a near record for a local bird club in this day and age!)
The outgoing officers reported that the society was in a very healthy position, both in terms of a continued growth in membership (52) as well as financially. The 2007 Open Gold Championship Show had also been a great success. This had been the societies first Gold Championship Show with Double CC’s to be awarded but everything had gone very smoothly. Meeting nights and aviary visits etc had all been well attended. The Chairman thanked those committee members, who were not standing for re-election, for their service to the society over the years: Mick Boulton, Jim Hill and Allan Minchin.
Members are more than welcome to come on a committee night which is always the last Thursday of the month meeting starts at 8.15 pm,at the archdales social club ,this is also an enjoyable and evening.
